Position: Lorry Driver
Reporting to: Transport Manager
Location: Based from our Head Office driving throughout Ireland
Salary: Salary + Overtime + Bonuses
Job Summary
Teemore Engineering Ltd is a true market leader and is expanding rapidly in supplying Cattle Housing and Handling Equipment to the farming industry throughout the UK and Ireland. Our company is experiencing major growth and is looking to recruit a HGV driver.
This full-time position will include multi-drops, delivering customer orders directly from our Head Office to their farm/site.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure timely delivery of customers’ orders
- Ensure your load is secure and safe at all times
- Unload customer orders safely using a forklift
- Collect customer payments where indicated
- Liaise with other team members to ensure accuracy of information regarding customer addresses and contact numbers
- Liaise with accounts department
- Report any faults with your lorry and/or trailer in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a HGV driving license
- Must be able to work using own initiative
- Knowledge/experience in agriculture would be beneficial but is not essential
