Healthcare Assistant – Days Shifts, Cahir, Tipperary
United Irish Healthcare is currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to provide daytime support to a client in their own home.
This role focuses on providing practical assistance, personal care, and companionship while supporting the client’s daily routine in line with an agreed care plan.

Pay & Contract
- From €16.00 to €18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Range €256 to €324 weekly (depending on experience)
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and supervision during the day
- Assist with mobility and transfers using a walking frame
- Support with personal care, including dressing, bathing, and hygiene
- Assist with toileting and daily routines
- Provide medication prompting
- Prepare and serve meals
- Support the client emotionally and encourage daily activity
- Perform light household tasks related to the client
Requirements (Essential)
- Right to work in Ireland
- Good level of spoken and written English
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or an equivalent qualification
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and reference checks
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in homecare or healthcare
- Experience supporting clients with mobility needs
- Full driving license
