Invites applications for the position of
Preschool AIM Support Worker
The ideal candidate will possess:
· A minimum FETAC Level 5 Qualification in Early Childcare Education, REQUIRED
· Preferably, experience working in a preschool childcare setting. Other experience will be considered
· A working knowledge of Aistear and Síolta standards
· Good interpersonal, communication and IT skills
· Strong leadership skills
· The ability to work as part of a team
· A high standard of spoken and written English is required
Sample of responsibilities will include:
· Working in a Preschool Childcare Setting (9.15am – 12.15pm, Monday to Friday)
· Working as part of a childcare team, assisting the Room Leader and Assistant in the daily running of the room
· Implementing a curriculum and lesson plan for preschool session
· Promote emerging curriculum that is observed through play
· To adhere to Dreamchasers Policies and Procedures and all preschool regulations
· Complete children’s learning journals
· Maintain a good relationship with children and their families as a Key Worker

This position is a term time only role
