Job Role and Responsibilities:
Our Desk Supervisors provide frontline customer service while supervising rental desk operations, supporting and motivating the team to deliver excellent customer experiences, and achieve performance and KPI targets.
This is a customer facing, supervisory role with a broad range of roles and responsibilities including:
- Day-to-day running of Shannon Airport branch with support from Shannon Airport Branch Manager
- Ensuring team deliver excellent customer service
- Taking a proactive approach in improving SES levels at branch, feeding back to Branch Manager on a consistent basis where there are challenges, issues or successes in this area
- Handling customer queries or issues effectively and professionally
- Oversight of vehicle assignment from an operational standpoint
- Work with Branch Manager to optimise overall team performance
- Offer support to Rental Agents and assist in instances where escalation is required
- Act as an ambassador for Sixt promoting best practice within the branch and encouraging Rental Agents and other staff members to perform their role in accordance with Sixt standards
- Responsibility for achieving personal and team KPIs/targets
- Ensuring proper implementation of company policies and procedures within team
- Handling of paperwork and general administrative duties
- Serving customers at Rental Desk
- Any other duties as required by your Line Manager
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing, supervisory, or similar service-oriented role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to support and motivate a high-performing team.
- Customer-focused and sales-oriented, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving business objectives.
- Full, clean Category B driving licence, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with availability to work shifts between 5:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday, on a rotational roster basis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced airport environment, effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Pay: €15.50 per hour
