ProVerum - Senior Product Engineer (Medical Device)

You’ll likely have:
· A minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or a related technical field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the medical device industry
· Exposure to manufacturing processes for catheters and/or polymer-based delivery systems and injection moulding
· Demonstrated analytical problem-solving abilities, you're methodical under pressure and comfortable driving investigations through to root cause
· Experience in product/process validation and design verification/validation
· Strong knowledge of medical device materials, nitinol and medical device polymers a strong advantage
· Good working knowledge of SolidWorks or a comparable CAD package
· Knowledge of medical device quality and regulatory systems, including ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820
· Excellent communication and technical writing skills
· Project planning and execution skills
· A proactive, 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude suited to a fast-moving, cross-functional environment
In this role you will:
· Sustain the manufacturing line, real-time troubleshooting, CAPA, NCR, and SCAR ownership through to root cause and corrective action
· Partner with Operations and Quality to design, optimise, and scale manufacturing processes and production flow
· Lead process improvement initiatives, including fixturing/tooling design, verification, and implementation
· Provide technical support to suppliers to ensure supply reliability, product quality, and process consistency
· Support new design evaluation, packaging development, and iteration of existing products and processes
· Ensure all products and changes comply with QMS and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, PMA, 510k)
· Maintain documentation across DHF, QMS procedures, validation protocols, and production records
· Coach and upskill team members as needed
