The Role:
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Architect role based in Dublin. The Architect will lead and contribute to architectural design across all project stages, from concept development and feasibility studies to detailed design and construction documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring that design intent aligns with regulatory requirements, budgets, and timelines. The role involves overseeing project delivery, supporting planning applications, participating in design reviews, and contributing to quality control throughout construction. The architect will also mentor junior team members, collaborate closely with colleagues across sectors, and help integrate digital tools and workflows into project processes.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading design development on large-scale residential schemes (LRD/SHD) alongside commercial and public-sector projects
- Producing and coordinating drawings, specifications and models to a high technical standard
- Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors
- Attending site and supporting construction administration
- Contributing to our sustainability-first approach — fabric-first design, low embodied carbon material selection, and circular economy thinking on every brief
- Provide mentoring and support our younger team members
- Contributing to studio life and culture
What You'll Bring:
- 5 years' post-qualification experience in architectural practice
- Demonstrable experience on large-scale residential schemes, including LRD (Large-scale Residential Development) and/or SHD (Strategic Housing Development) planning pathways
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows is essential
- Working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and the planning process
- A portfolio that shows design rigour and an eye for detail through to technical delivery
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience delivering projects from concept to completion
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including coordination of schedules, budgets, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with Integration of architectural solutions with engineering, building services, and digital tools to support cohesive project delivery
- Familiarity with Software Development concepts or digital design tools (e.g. BIM, parametric design, automation) is an advantage
- Professional registration as an architect in Ireland or an equivalent jurisdiction
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar), with strong visual and technical communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of planning, building regulations, and construction standards relevant to the Irish or EU context
- Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team, manage multiple priorities, and engage confidently with clients and consultants
