Business Development Representative – FMCG Field Sales Division

Established in 1996, MCM Sales & Marketing has become one of Ireland’s leading companies in the FMCG sector. Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing Field Sales Division and help take our business to the next stage of success.
The Role
As a Business Development Representative you will play a key role in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and enhancing brand performance across your assigned territory. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive, high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key retail customers within your territory.
- Drive growth and performance of client brands through effective sales and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with planograms, promotional activity, and distribution standards.
- Deliver on agreed KPIs related to sales, distribution, visibility, and promotional compliance.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to identify opportunities and implement business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate reporting and communication through our Retail Execution Software.
About You
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic professional with a proven track record in FMCG Sales or Retail Management (minimum 2 years’ experience).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and reliability in completing work to agreed standards and deadlines.
- Analytical and process-driven, with good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Proficient in IT, especially in the use of Retail Execution Software.
- Fluent in English (essential).
