Arthur Maynes/Upstairs is looking for a Part time or Full time Mixologist/ Bartender
We are a vibrant, tapas/cocktail bar known for its creative mixology, warm hospitality, lively atmosphere and late night bar part of the Cork Heritage Pub Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Mixology & Bar Service
- Prepare classic cocktails and signature drinks with consistency, speed, and precision.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all beverages, including spirits, wines, liqueurs, and seasonal cocktail menus.
- Assist in developing new cocktail recipes and menu concepts.
- Handle bar prep work: garnish preparation, syrup/batch production, and stocking.
- Ensure bar cleanliness and organization to uphold health and safety standards.
Customer Service
- Greet and engage guests in a warm, friendly manner.
- Take drink orders accurately and deliver items promptly.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests’ needs are met throughout their visit.
- Handle payments and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Collaborate with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth service.
- Maintain a calm and positive attitude during busy periods.
Uphold all licensing, hygiene, and safety standards.
