JOB TITLE: General Operator based in Carrigaline, Cork
Hassetts Bakers & Confectioners Ltd produces a luxury range of cream cakes, biscuits, cookies, crackers, and seasonal showstopper cakes for the retail market.
We are currently recruiting full-time General Operators to join our bakery team in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday, either 7:00am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm. Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays during peak seasonal periods is required to meet business demands.

You will play an important role in our fast-paced bakery operation. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to candidates who demonstrate motivation, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
MAIN DUTIES
- Work safely and efficiently on production lines to support the manufacture of bakery products
- Pack finished products for storage and dispatch, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet the required standards
- Build, stack, and wrap pallets safely and correctly for storage and dispatch
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Complete and maintain accurate quality and production records
- Adhere to all safety guideline and procedure to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and organisation within the work area
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the Production Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have permission to work in Ireland
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Previous food production experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Forklift licence is desirable
