The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers while leading and developing a high-performing team. You will oversee sales performance, stock management, merchandising, and operational standards while fostering a welcoming environment for both customers and their pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail associates.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a customer-first culture.
- Drive store sales and achieve performance targets.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure attractive product presentation and merchandising standards.
- Monitor store profitability and control operational costs.
- Recruit, train, and coach team members.
- Maintain health, safety, and animal welfare standards where applicable.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
