Role
As a Chef at The Bay Tree Portlaoise, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
●Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
●Maintain cleanliness and comply with all HACCP and food safety procedures.
●Ensure food is prepared efficiently during busy service periods.
●Assist with stock control, ordering, and reducing food waste.
●Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.
●Help maintain a positive, professional, and organised kitchen environment.
●Contribute ideas for seasonal specials and menu development where appropriate.
