The products and services of Volkswagen Financial Services range from the financing of new and used vehicles of all the Group's brands to dealer financing.
A vacancy has now arisen within the Remarketing Department of Volkswagen Financial Services Ireland. The successful candidate will lead the remarketing function, manage the disposal strategy for end-of-contract and company vehicles, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximise value, manage risk and deliver excellent service.
Job Summary:
The Remarketing Manager is responsible for leading the remarketing strategy and operational performance of the company’s vehicle assets. The role is accountable for ensuring vehicles are disposed of promptly, profitably, compliantly and in line with Volkswagen Financial Services Ireland’s strategic objectives, risk appetite and customer service standards.
The role owns the end-to-end remarketing process, including pricing governance, sales channel management, supplier oversight, stock performance, reporting, policy compliance and continuous improvement across the remarketing lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be an experienced automotive remarketing professional with strong commercial judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills, a sound understanding of used vehicle markets, and the ability to lead operational activity while driving strategic improvements.
The Role will have the following responsibilities:

Develop, own and continuously improve the VWFSI remarketing strategy to optimise disposal performance, residual value outcomes, customer experience and operational efficiency.

Manage remarketing valuations, reserve calculations and pricing recommendations for approval, using market intelligence, inspection reports and internal governance standards.

Provide regular, accurate and timely analysis and reporting on remarketing performance, stock position, pricing outcomes, aged inventory, losses, gains and key risks to senior management.

Lead the fair wear and tear, excess mileage and end-of-contract charging processes in partnership with Fleet, Sales, Operations and Customer teams.

Manage remarketing projects with key internal and external stakeholders, including assessment of new disposal channels, digital sales routes, auction partners and business case development.

Maintain strong relationships with dealers, internal sales teams, operations, finance, risk, compliance and customer-facing teams.
