Bus Drivers
Sam Dennigan & Company uc., one of the largest Irish owned Fresh Produce and logistics company based in North Co. Dublin, are currently recruiting for a number of Mini Bus Drivers.
Working Hours:

Morning and afternoon shifts available

Bus Driver duties including but not limited to:
-
Driving legally and safely, in full compliance with traffic regulations.
-
To ensure your bus cab area is kept in a safe and tidy condition at all times.
-
Effective communication with passengers.
-
To accurately use the ticket machine.
-
Drive bus for designated scheduled runs at allocated times and locations.
-
Conduct necessary safety checks before using vehicle to ensure correct operation of lights, indicators, reverse signals, safety doors, windscreen wipers, audible horn and tyres.

Monitoring vehicle parts.
-
At the end of each service ensure the bus is clean and tidy and windows and doors are securely locked.

Maintain a valid Irish or European Driving Licence in the appropriate D category.

Notify Management immediately of any suspension or conditions placed on your License.

Notify Management of any faults or defects.
-
To ensure a full understanding of emergency and evacuation plans.

To ensure all safety accidents/incidents are reported using the company's reporting procedure.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
-
Minimum of a D drivers Irish or European licence is essential

PSV Licence desirable
-
Experience in a similar driving role

Having excellent driving skills
-
Having good knowledge of routes and geography

Previous Warehouse experience desirable

Manual handling experience with pallet trucks and trolleys
-
Experience working in Chilled warehouse environment an advantage

Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to demonstrate flexibility
