Job Description
Harte Peat Ltd is a leading supplier of growing media to the mushroom and horticultural sectors across Ireland, the UK and worldwide. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the production, handling, and dispatch of growing media products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery and equipment
- Bagging, stacking and palletising finished products
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with general yard and production duties
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Supporting other departments as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, yard, or agricultural environment advantageous
- Good work ethic and reliability essential
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Flexible approach to work
Desirable:
- Forklift licence (not essential)
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling certification
