Maintenance Operative:
We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced and motivated maintenance operative to work with us.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a professional, hardworking environment within a workforce that thrives on teamwork and achieving superior customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs which are outside your remit.
- Maintenance of garden areas.
- Painting and decorating as required.
- General construction work as required e.g. plumbing, carpentry etc.
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks when required.
- Using materials, parts, and equipment in an efficient manner.
- Full compliance with all safety procedures and adhering to operating safety steps.
- Understand and adhere to all business policies and procedures.
About You/Requirements:
- Possess a full, valid, and clean driver’s license.
- Experience in a maintenance and/or landscaping environment preferable.
- Must have the ability to work on your own initiative and at times unsupervised.
- Must have a positive attitude to working relationships and communicate well with colleagues.
- Be organised and diligent with a flexible approach to work.
- Have the desire to achieve and maintain a high standard of work.
