Bluemotion Engineering Limited, founded in 2020, designs and manufactures industrial CNC cutting machines for steel fabrication environments. All machines are built, assembled, and tested in-house at our facility in Cork, Ireland.
Our operations integrate engineering, machining, assembly, and support, giving us full control over quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
We are now expanding our CNC capabilities and building a high-performance manufacturing team to support our next stage of growth.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to assist with our CNC operations.
This is a hands-on role combining mechanical design, CAM programming (Autodesk Inventor CAM), CNC machining. You will play a key role in improving processes, increasing efficiency, and helping scale our manufacturing capability.
This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working across design, programming, and hands-on manufacturing, and is motivated to make a real impact in a growing engineering business.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Programming & Machining
- Program parts using Autodesk Inventor CAM
- Set up and operate CNC machines
- Optimise toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and setups
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
Mechanical Design
- Design components, fixtures, and improvements to CNC machinery
- Ensure designs are optimised for manufacturability
- Work from concept through to finished parts
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements
- Reduce cycle times, scrap, and setup times
- Standardise tooling, setups, and workflows
Advertising
- Lead and support the companies marketing efforts
- Maintain high standards of quality and customer relation
Requirements:
Essential
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor
- Hands-on experience with cnc machines setup and operation
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings
- Interest in producing advertising plans and content for industrial company
Desirable
- Video editing experience
- Understanding of tooling and machining strategies
