Forklift Operator
STL Logistics are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled forklift operators for roles in Limerick. The prime function of this position is work with the existing team to ensure that the targets are met on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.
This is a hands on role, ideal for a person who has experience in driving forklifts in a busy day to day environment.
Responsibilities:
· Adhere to site safety rules
· Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks as well as putting product away
· Adhere to quality and customer service standards.
· Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
· Ensure that all instructions from you direct line manager are carried out accurately and efficiently.
· Checking and receiving deliveries accurately as per company SOPs.
· Ensure that stock is accurately recorded.
· Conduct cycle counts as required.
· Ensure your work area is kept clean, tidy and the doors are kept closed when not in use.
Experience & Skills:
· Previous experience as a Forklift operator in a fast paced environment is desirable.
· Up to date Forklift License required.
· Manual Handling Certificate would be an advantage.
· Strong Safety and Quality Awareness.
