About the Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives to support our warehouse operations on an ad-hoc, on-call basis. The role mainly involves stripping out shipping containers, unloading goods, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
This is ideal for candidates who are flexible, physically fit, and available at short notice to cover seasonal and peak workload periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload and strip containers of goods and materials.
- Move, stack, and palletise products as required.
- Work safely and follow warehouse procedures.
- Use manual handling techniques and equipment where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks within deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or general operative experience preferred.
- Ability to carry out physical, repetitive manual work.
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts, often at short notice.
- Strong reliability and punctuality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Manual Handling certificate required.
Contract & Pay
- Type: Ad-hoc / Casual, on-call basis.
- Hours: Variable, typically daytime shifts but flexibility required.
Job Types: Part-time, Specified-purpose
Pay: €14.15-€14.50 per hour
