ABC Cleaning Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites within a designated area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising cleaning teams, maintaining service standards, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of contracts.
The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organisational ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Supervise cleaning operations across multiple sites.
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the required standards.
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Monitor service delivery and take corrective action where necessary.
- Assist with the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Staff Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and support cleaning teams.
- Recruit and assist with the onboarding of new staff.
- Deliver training on cleaning methods, equipment, and health & safety procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and conduct.
- Organise staff rotas and arrange cover for absences.
Client Relations
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and service reviews.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and complaints.
- Ensure agreed service levels are consistently achieved.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and site safety inspections.
- Ensure staff use appropriate PPE and cleaning equipment safely.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and hazards.
Stock & Equipment Control
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and consumables.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and operational.
- Report equipment faults and arrange repairs when required.
Administration
- Complete site inspection reports and performance records.
- Submit staff timesheets and attendance information.
- Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safe working practices.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel between sites.
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Pay: €30,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
