Cairdeas Kinnegad Community Childcare, a welcoming and vibrant creche located in Kinnegad, is currently recruiting for a Educator for our ECCE program (21 hours) to join our busy and dynamic team. Our service is committed to providing high-quality early years education in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
This role also could offer flexible extra hours for those interested in additional work.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Childcare (Early Learning and Care) or an equivalent recognised qualification. A QQI Level 8 qualification in Early Learning and Care or a related field is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of early childhood development
- Excellent understanding of play-based emergent curriculum and the ability to apply the Aistear Curriculum framework to meet individual planning and practice
- Positive disposition and experience in observing and recording children’s progress and development
- Knowledge of inclusive practices and child development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative
- Warm, patient, and positive attitude when working with children
- Availability to work during summer
