Caffreys Furniture is a well-established, family-run business with a long-standing reputation for offering high-quality furniture and delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for a Manager to come, and join our team in our Cavan store.
Role Overview
The Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Cavan showroom, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, visual presentation, and team performance. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and a passion for home interiors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Cavan store, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every visitor receives the highest standard of service.
- Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and deliveries in collaboration with head office.
- Handle customer queries and after-sales issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management on performance and opportunities for growth.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to uphold company values and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail management or senior sales role, ideally within the furniture, interiors, or luxury retail sector.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver strong sales results.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Strong visual merchandising and store presentation awareness.
- A customer-focused approach with a genuine passion for interiors and design.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Retail point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays.
