Lawlor’s of Naas Hotel is currently seeking a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food and memorable guest experiences.
Your Role
As Breakfast Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create high-quality dishes that consistently exceed guest expectations.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest hotel standards
- Assist with mise en place across all relevant menus
- Take ownership of your kitchen section and ensure smooth service
- Maintain equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Keep all work areas clean, organised, and efficient at all times
- Strictly follow Health & Safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Accurately record temperatures and food safety checks
- Support the wider kitchen team and carry out additional duties as required
- Uphold all hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards
The Ideal candidate for this position:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef in a 4-star hotel environment
- Confidence working in a busy, high-energy kitchen
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and solid HACCP knowledge
- Ability to stay calm, adaptable, and efficient under pressure
- A positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Availability for early starts (from 6am) and weekend shifts
