The Butler Arms Hotel is one of Ireland’s most historic seaside hotels, beautifully located in the heart of Waterville on the famous Ring of Kerry and overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay. Now operating under new ownership, the hotel is entering an exciting new chapter with significant investment and a renewed focus on exceptional food, warm hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated chef who takes pride in quality ingredients, creativity, and working as part of a professional team in a dynamic hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section.
- Maintain excellent standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene and food safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Support junior kitchen team members where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
- A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
