Due to continued growth NutriQuick is expanding and is now recruiting for a Food Production Supervisor to join our amazing team.

Responsible For:
As a Food Production Supervisor at Nutriquick, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our food production facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the production process, managing a team and ensuring that quality, safety, and productivity compliance standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of food production processes, and a commitment to excellence. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise Production Process: Oversee all aspects of the food production process, including ingredient preparation, cooking, packaging, and labelling, to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Team Management: Lead and coach a team of production workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and productivity continuously communicating and providing two-way feedback to both the team and the Senior Management team .
Quality Control: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Conduct regular safety inspections, provide safety training to employees, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials, and minimize waste through efficient production planning and inventory control.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule repairs and maintenance activities as needed.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality control records, and inventory logs. Prepare regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management review.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements in the production process. Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows and maximize productivity.
Essential Criteria
· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and production processes.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team and work on own initiative.
· Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable criteria
Proven experience in food production or manufacturing.
Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, SQF) is an advantage.
This is a Monday to Sunday operation and our Food Production Supervisor must be available to work early morning shifts and evening shifts.
