Learn & Earn – Begin Your Career Working With Dogs
Do you love dogs and dream of building a career in the canine industry, but don't have the experience to get started?
At Creedons Dog Care, we're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our Learn & Earn Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals in one of Ireland's leading dog care businesses.
No previous professional experience is required. We believe attitude, work ethic and a genuine passion for dogs are far more important—we can teach the rest.
As part of our team, you'll receive structured training while assisting with the day-to-day care of dogs attending our daycare, training and enrichment programmes.
During your training, you'll gain experience in:
- Safe dog handling and restraint
- Understanding canine body language and behaviour
- Dog welfare and enrichment
- Cleaning and hygiene procedures
- Group management and supervision
- Customer service and client communication
- Working as part of a professional animal care team
As your confidence and skills develop, you'll be given increasing responsibility, with opportunities to progress into permanent roles within the business.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Enjoys learning and taking on new challenges
- Is physically active and happy working in all weather conditions
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team
- Wants to build a long-term career working with dogs
