We are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to join our team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and well-presented operation of all internal and external areas across the property. The Maintenance Operative will work closely with the Engineering team to support a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general DIY and painting tasks
-
Submit requests to reorder supplies and spare parts as required to the Manager
-
Assist in performing a preventive maintenance programme
-
Maintain equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order
-
Submit reports to the Engineering Manager on the condition of buildings and equipment
-
Assist in performing emergency work regarding fire, water, electricity, and other essential services
-
Maintain a high standard of work while performing duties and responsibilities
-
Follow all company procedures and policies and cooperate in maintaining them

Monitor the aesthetics and ensure the upkeep and immaculate appearance of the hotel
What we are looking for:

General maintenance experience or a good practical skill set

A hands-on, flexible approach to work

Strong attention to detail and pride in their work

Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team

Basic IT skills
