Home Care Assistant vacancies in South Dublin for Carers seeking Weekend Work.
Care for Me are currently recruiting Qualified and/or Experienced Home Care Assistants
Area Group 1 (primarily in Crumlin, Walkinstown, Drimnagh, Perrystown, Inchicore, Bluebell, Palmerstown, Ballyfermot and surrounding Dublin 10, 12 and 8 areas.)
We facilitate Walkers, Public Transport Users, Cyclists and Drivers.
We also provide Signing bonus up to €1000 (Depending on Experience, T&Cs Apply), Refer-A-Friend Bonuses €300, Guaranteed Minimum Weekly Hours and a free-of-charge 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
Rates
- Saturday starting from €16.25 up to €17.75 per hour, depending on experience
- Sunday starting from €17.00 up to €20 per hour, depending on experience
- Bank Holidays, starting from €30.80 up to €34.50 per hour, depending on experience
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Light Household Duties
- Medication Prompts / Pharmacy Runs
- Meal Preparation / Grocery Shopping
- Light exercises with Client
In addition, carers will be expected to monitor and document the condition of their clients in our Home Care app and to report any concerns to a Care Manager. We endeavour to provide the best of person-centred care to our clients and as such the ideal candidate would be compassionate, punctual and preferably have experience with providing personal care.
Required Qualifications:
The following Qualifications are required:
- QQI (FETAC) Level 5 Care Of The Older Person (5N2706)
- QQI (FETAC) Level 5 Care Skills (5N2770)
Any relevant approved Full QQI Level 5 Major Award or higher will fulfil and surpass these requirements.
If you don't have these modules, but have a minimum of one year paid professional Home Care experience, this will also be sufficient.
