About the Role
We are currently seeking a fully qualified Solar Panel Electrician to join our expanding renewable energy team. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, consistent work, and opportunities for progression within the solar and renewables sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Installation of solar PV systems in line with industry standards and regulations
· Electrical wiring, containment, and connection to consumer units or distribution boards
· Testing, commissioning, and fault-finding of solar PV systems
· Completion of electrical certification and compliance documentation
· Working safely at height and adhering to all health & safety procedures
· Liaising with site managers and customers when required
· Essential Qualifications & Requirements
Requirements:
· Fully qualified Electrician
· NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
· AM2 Certification
· ECS Gold Card
· Electrical Regulations
· 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
· Solar Qualifications
· Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems (or equivalent)
Additional Requirements
· CSCS Card
· Working at Height Certification
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
