We are recruiting for a Front of House / Barista to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate foodie with a genuine interest in artisan baked goods and experience making coffee is favourable, on-site training will be provided.
Job Description:
Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet customers, answer questions, take orders and accept payments
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks including coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages
- Describing menu items, suggesting products to customers and fulfilling bakery orders including toasted sandwiches
- Replenish counter displays
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
- Update displays and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation
- Comply with HACCP regulations and adhere to manual handling requirements
The ideal candidate
- Barista experience favourable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hard working, flexible and adaptable team player
- A strong understanding of HACCP regulations (desirable)
