The Role
As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing customer orders, survey information and technical specifications before entering them into our production system.
Accuracy is critical, as every window and door we manufacture is bespoke. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Review survey reports, measurements and technical specifications.
- Ensure all dimensions, glazing, colours, hardware and product options are entered correctly.
- Input orders into our order processing software.
- Produce manufacturing paperwork for production.
- Liaise with Sales Advisors, Surveyors and our Installation Team to resolve any queries before production.
- Communicate with Fairco’s Manufacturing Facility regarding technical queries and amendments.
- Ensure customer orders are processed within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Process order amendments where required.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies before orders are released for manufacture.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the Operations Team.
Essential Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent written and spoken English (essential).

- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly manner.

- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
Although not essential, the following experience would be highly advantageous:
- Experience within the windows, doors, glazing or construction industry.
- Previous experience processing bespoke or made-to-order products.
- Knowledge of technical drawings or building specifications.
- Experience using industry software such as Adminbase, Business Micros or similar.
- Experience working within manufacturing or production administration.
