Job Summary:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will work closely with the Managing Director to maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and team morale. Your leadership will help create a positive and productive work environment where our team can excel and our guests can enjoy an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, labour control, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Support, train and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Resolve day-to-day issues in a safe and prompt manner.
- Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and safety standards.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Aid in hiring, training, and developing staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with company's policies, practices and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Food Safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of Marketing Campaigns
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth and improvement.
- Oversee maintenance, repair and equipment needs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Passion for food, service, and hospitality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts 5 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent financial acumen and KPI knowledge
- Problem Solving abilities essential
- Basic Spanish proficiency is a bonus but not essential
