The Kingsley is currently recruiting for a Health Club Supervisor to join our Health Club team.
This role is ideal for an experienced fitness professional with strong leadership and customer service skills. The Health Club Supervisor will support the day-to-day operation of the club, ensuring excellent service, high standards and a positive experience for all members and guests.

What We Are Looking For:
-
Previous experience in a supervisory/management role is essential.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar fitness or health club environment.

Nationally recognised NCEHS / NCEF Fitness Instructor qualification or equivalent.

Strong leadership and people management skills.
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-
Strong sales awareness and target-focused approach.

Good computer skills and ability to analyse figures and performance.

Previous membership sales experience is desirable.

Lifeguard and Pool Plant Operator certification is an advantage.

Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster.
Responsibilities:

Ensure all members and guests receive a warm, friendly and professional service.
-
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Health Club in line with hotel and departmental standards.

Deal with member and guest queries, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service throughout the Health Club.

Supervise, support and motivate the Health Club team.

Assist with the training, coaching and development of new and existing team members.

Support staff appraisals, departmental meetings and ongoing performance management.

Promote Health Club memberships, personal training, classes, retail and other revenue opportunities.

Monitor sales, stock levels, departmental costs and key performance indicators.

Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard and report any defects promptly.

Ensure Health & Safety, hygiene and pool procedures are followed at all times.

Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of Health Club team members.

Work closely with the wider hotel management team to ensure excellent communication and service standards.

Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the effective operation of the Health Club.
