About the Role
Glenwood Studios is looking for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our small, hands-on business in Delgany, North Wicklow.
We're looking for someone who takes real pride in their craft, produces high-quality work, and is comfortable working in a close-knit environment. You will work closely with the owner on a variety of bespoke cabinetry and joinery projects, so a positive attitude, reliability and the ability to work well with others are essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and assembling bespoke and fitted cabinetry
- Working accurately from drawings and specifications
- Cutting, machining and assembling timber, MDF, plywood and other materials
- Using woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and finish
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Taking pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who is:
- An experienced Cabinet Maker, Joiner or Furniture Maker
- Highly skilled and takes pride in their workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- A positive person who works well in a small, close-knit environment
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative
- Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality work
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Experienced with woodworking machinery and hand tools
Knowledge or experience working with CNC machinery would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
