About the Role
O'Toole Transport is seeking an experienced Recruitment & HR Manager to lead and develop the company's people function during an exciting period of continued growth.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a genuine impact on how a business attracts, develops and supports its people. Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will work closely with managers across the business, providing both operational and strategic HR support while leading recruitment activity and driving continuous improvement across HR processes.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The role will include responsibility for:
- Leading recruitment across the business, from workforce planning through to onboarding.
- Supporting managers on employee relations matters and day-to-day HR queries.
- Managing the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, probation and offboarding.
- Developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and documentation.
- Supporting performance management, training and employee development initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
- Building strong working relationships across all areas of the business to provide practical, commercial HR support.
