We are seeking a motivated Pipe Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of automated feeding, drinking, and cooling pipe systems used in agricultural production facilities.
The role involves working with mechanical and agricultural equipment to support the efficient operation of livestock housing systems while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of auger pipe systems for automated livestock feeding systems
Assembly and installation of drinker and feed distribution pipework
Fitting, alignment, and maintenance of auger feed lines and associated mechanical components
Installation of misting, ventilation, and cooling pipe systems within livestock housing units
Inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of existing agricultural installations
Reading and interpreting installation layouts and technical specifications where required
Use of mechanical tools and equipment to complete installation and repair work
Ensuring all work complies with company safety procedures and industry standards
Working independently and as part of a team across multiple farm sites
Requirements
Proven experience in mechanical installation, agricultural equipment installation, or similar technical work
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills
Experience working with pipe systems, installation equipment, or mechanical assemblies
Ability to work safely at heights when required
Full clean driving licence
Ability to work in outdoor agricultural environments
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
The role involves working at various locations throughout Ireland.
