As part of our on-going growth, we are now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic CNC Operator at our location in Tusker, Broomfield, Co. Monaghan.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven CNC Operator experience essential.
· Proficient ability to read and interpret drawings.
· Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative.
· Awareness and experience on hand-tools and handling steel and other building materials.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
· Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheels Training advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare CNC machinery for operation by loading necessary tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
- Input program specifications into CNC machines using specialized software tailored for structural steel fabrication.
- Handle and position structural steel components accurately within the CNC machine, ensuring proper alignment and clamping for machining operations.
- Monitor the operation of CNC machines during fabrication processes, including cutting, drilling, milling, and punching, to ensure precision and quality in the finished parts.
- Inspect fabricated steel parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool changes and material usage.
- Work closely with other members of the fabrication team, including welders, fitters, and supervisors, to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.
