Position: Accounts Payable Finance Administrator
Reporting To: Finance Manager

Job Summary: To support the timely and accurate processing, approval and payment of
- supplier invoices in line with Group policies and procedures
- weekly wages and monthly salaries for all Group companies
Key Responsibilities:
Working with The Finance Manager and Finance Team:
- Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices in line with Group policies and procedures
- Ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and processed to the nominal ledger
- Working with department managers for the timely approval of invoices and resolution of disputes
- Preparing, processing and posting weekly supplier payments
- Reconciling creditor statements monthly
- Ensuring correct documentation has been obtained for all new suppliers
- The maintenance of sub-contractor records in accordance with ISO requirements
- Month end close of creditors
Payroll
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all companies
- Review, reconciliation and processing of payroll reports monthly to the nominal ledger
- Ensuring payroll records are maintained in accordance with accepted policies and procedures
Intercompany Transactions
- Ensure accurate and efficient intercompany recording and recharge process
- Recharges
- Reconciliations
Requirements:
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately

- Competent IT skills, particularly proficient with spreadsheet software
- High level of accuracy
- Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
- Administrative skills
- Previous experience of financial administration
IT Skills:
- PC literacy, MS Outlook, Excel to a high standard and Word
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software, ideally Sage
Qualification:
- Relevant business qualification
- 2 years + relevant experience
