Cook / Chef – 4‑Day Week (30–40 Hours)
Location: East Cork
We’re looking for a reliable, organised Cook/Chef to run a small county‑pub kitchen with a simple, consistent menu. This is a full‑time role over 4 days, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and steady service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook all menu items to a consistent standard
- Manage daily prep, stock control, and supplier orders
- Maintain HACCP records, kitchen hygiene, and cleaning schedules
- Work smoothly with bar staff and management during service
- Contribute ideas for small improvements or seasonal specials
Requirements
- Experience in a pub, café, or small kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP
- Ability to work independently and stay organised
- Reliable, professional, and consistent in delivery
