We are hiring an energetic and organised warehouse team member who will also be required to carry out various driving duties.
We are looking for a reliable Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join our team and support key warehouse functions, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
This role involves working independently on Saturdays and is vital in maintaining warehouse organisation, stock management and order processing.
Hours: The Saturday shift will fall between 3:00pm and 10:00pm, with an average of approximately 5 hours per week.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Picking and packing customer orders, completing orders in the system, and preparing for dispatch.
- Stock Management: Putting stock away in designated locations, conducting regular stock counts, and ensuring accurate inventory control. Using our stock management system-Unleashed to assign batches and complete sales orders.
- Following appropriate goods out procedure for MRPI dispatch.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean and organised, ensuring all areas meet safety and hygiene standards.
Essential
- Good organisation and attention to detail to ensure accurate stock management.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock safely.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using warehouse systems and basic IT tools (training will be provided).
Desirable:
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or stock control is an advantage.
- Previous experience with Stock Management systems desirable.
