We are looking to hire an experienced child care educator to join our team in August 2026.
Our service is looking for a candidate who is passionate about implementing best practice while working alongside our preschool team.
Position: Lead Educator (afternoons).
Hours: Full Time: 32-40 hours, Monday to Friday.
Location: Tullamore.
Pay: As per ERO rates
Requirements:
- A genuine love of working with children and within the childcare environment.
- Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education.
- Minium of 2 years paid employment within a Childare/ECCE Service.
- Minium of 1 years experience in a Lead Educator Role.
- Knowledge of TUSLA requirements and 2016 regulations.
- Knowledge of working with Siolta and Aistear.
- Completion of Child Protection, First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Safety Certified is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent teamwork principles.
- Fluent: English
