We are looking for a general operative to join our friendly team in a busy paced environment. The successful candidate will handle and prepare fresh herbs for distribution.
Key duties include:
Sorting and Grading: Inspecting fresh herbs to remove wilted leaves and discoloration.
Weighing and Packing: Accurately weighing and placing herbs into specific punnets or bags according to customer weight requirements.
Labelling: Attaching product labels.
Quality Control: Checking for proper seal integrity and quality of the product
Dispatch: Stacking finished packages into crates or boxes.
Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and the packing area in compliance with strict food safety regulations.
This role will also include some deliveries (back up driver - when our driver is on annual leave or on his day off) and goods in duties. Training will be provided.
We have a good team and are looking to extend it. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible with us.
It is a fast paced job and we are looking for a person to slot in with everyone.
