The 4* Athlone Springs Hotel are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team .
The Role : We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section within the kitchen and ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest quality standards. We have live in accommodation available for this role
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Thrive in a high-pressure setting, maintaining composure.
- Maintain fluency in English and the ability to work independently.
- Adapt to a fast-paced kitchen, being capable of working on all sections.
- Uphold the highest standards in food hygiene, service, and presentation with HACCP Certification.
- Assist senior chefs in delivering a high level of service.
- Monitor portion control and waste management to maintain profit margins

The Ideal Candidate
- The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar role.
- Have experience working in a busy environment.
- Work well in a pressurized environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be able to work under own initiative.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Flexible - capable of working on all sections.
- Maintain the highest standard in food hygiene, service and presentation (HACCP Certification).
- Helping and assisting the senior chefs to execute a high level of service
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margin
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Should have at least a year's experience in a commercial kitchen
- HACCP knowledge and training
- A genuine passion for cooking
- Ability to work in a clean and organised manner
