Pharmacy Sales Assistant – Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Seeking a Sales Assistant to work in a family owned, independent community pharmacy. We are looking for someone who ideally can commence as soon as possible but we are willing to wait for the right candidate.
What you need to know?
This is a permanent full-time position working 3 or 4 days a week depending on preference. You will need to work weekends on a rotational basis. There is an excellent and very friendly support team.
What you will be doing:
- Provide a warm, professional and welcoming service to all customers
- Assist customers with their OTC healthcare and wellbeing needs
- Have a good knowledge of pharmacy OTC products and be willing to develop their product knowledge
- Offer appropriate advice within their role and refer customers to the pharmacist when required
- Maintain high standards of customer care and confidentiality
- Assist with stock management, merchandising and ordering
- Keep the OTC area clean, organised and well presented
- Work closely with the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy
