Full-Time Nanny / Childminder – Blackrock, Cork
2 Children | Monday–Friday | Driver Required | Competitive Salary
We are a family based in Blackrock, Cork looking for a kind, caring, experienced and reliable nanny/childminder to care for our two children, aged 6 and 5.
We are looking for someone warm, patient and genuinely good with children, who will become a trusted and valued part of our family. We would ideally love to find someone looking for a long-term position.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 11.30am–6.30pm
There may occasionally be the opportunity for additional hours, if desired.
The Role
The role will include:
* School collections and homework
* Sole care of the children during working hours
* Bringing the children to after-school activities, playdates, parks and playgrounds
* Organising fun and age-appropriate activities
* Preparing snacks, nutritious meals for the children
* Helping with the children’s belongings and keeping their play/eating areas tidy
* Light household duties
What We’re Looking For
We would love to find someone who is:
* Kind, patient, caring and dependable
* Experienced in caring for young children
* Confident caring for two children and managing their different needs and personalities
* Fun and engaging, while also able to provide a calm and consistent routine
* A confident driver with a full, clean driving licence and own car
* Fluent in English
* Able to provide excellent references
A childcare qualification and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid would be a great advantage, but the right person, relevant experience and a genuine connection with our children are most important to us.
Salary & Benefits
* Excellent hourly rate, dependent on experience
