Senior Chemistry Analyst – (Water Testing Laboratory)

We are a growing laboratory based in Little Island and are looking for a Senior Chemistry Analyst to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ laboratory experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the chemistry laboratory, carrying out routine testing, supporting lab operations, and contributing to a small, collaborative team.
Our chemistry laboratory focuses primarily on water testing, and the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of analytical techniques and laboratory systems.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing routine analytical chemistry testing (primarily water samples)
- Operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation (including ICP-MS)
- Recording and managing data using LIMS
- Supporting day-to-day laboratory operations and troubleshooting
- Assisting with method verification and routine quality checks
- Supporting documentation, SOPs, and general lab compliance activities
- Working collaboratively with the wider lab team to meet turnaround times

Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
- 2–3 years’ relevant laboratory experience
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to water or environmental testing
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 or similar lab standards
- Any exposure to method validation/verification
