About the Role:
OptumRx is looking for a curious and self-motivated individual to develop and manage end-to-end business process activities integral to the functioning of the Industry Relations Value Based Contracting function. This role will be responsible for creating, controlling, and improving business processes, applying project management techniques. We are looking for people that can collaborate cross-functionally with various business and data analytics teams, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and have the ability to manage multiple competing business projects at one time. The successful candidate will lead operations supporting the work and track and report on results.
Working Schedule:
Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model twice a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and manages end-to-end business critical processes
- Builds and manages relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
- Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
- Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
- Collects and coordinates business inputs
- Coordinates business meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOP) and ensures documentation
- Collaborate with analytics to inform drug value both pre and post execution
- Utilize exceptional organizational skills in the management of OptumRx contracts including but not limited to tracking VBCs in process, ensuring accurate/timely data, generating reports and tracking invoice delivery along with documenting collections by line of business or client

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environment to deliver business goals
- Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals industry or healthcare industry
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
