Van Drivers
Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Van Drivers to join our growing transport team.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for stable weekday work with a well-established company. Previous multi-drop experience is an advantage, however full training will be provided for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Daily duties may include:
- Completing scheduled deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial customers
- Loading and unloading goods safely and securely
- Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects where necessary
- Ensuring delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Planning delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules
- Following all road safety and company procedures at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and care of company vehicles
- Working closely with transport planners and warehouse staff
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Full clean valid driving licence
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- A reliable and professional attitude
- Applicants must be aged 23 years or over for insurance purposes
Desirable Skills & Experience
The following would be an advantage:
- Previous van driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Knowledge of local routes and road networks
- Experience using handheld delivery devices or transport apps
No previous multi-drop experience is required as full training will be provided.
