Job Details
- Lead mechanical engineering projects including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, ensuring they meet performance, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and close-out.
- Conduct field investigations and site inspections to ensure compliance with design, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials; review submittals andapprove shop drawings.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and project staff.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot mechanical system issuesduring and after installation.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable building codes,standards, and environmental regulations.
- Track project costs and assist with budget preparation, cost estimates,and change orders.
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience within the MEP Industry
- Strong leadership skiils
- Excellent organisation with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
