Company Information and Introduction:
Inclusive Living is a growing residential care provider in Ireland and forms part of a group of three established businesses under common direction, alongside two incoming tour operators serving Britain and Ireland.
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller (Fractional, C. 10 days per month) to take ownership of the finance function across the group, providing accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and strong financial governance. This is a varied senior role offering flexibility and the opportunity to help shape and develop the finance function as the businesses continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Key Responsibilities
You will take full ownership of the finance function across the three businesses and:
- Produce monthly management accounts for each business, accurately and within ten working days of month-end.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance against them.
- Maintain and regularly update rolling cashflow forecasts.
- Produce meaningful KPIs for management and boards.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounts function in each business, ensuring it is handled efficiently.
- Develop and mentor existing internal finance staff, building each business towards self-sufficient day-to-day finance administration.
- Lead the transition of all bookkeeping, payroll and accounting in-house, ending current outsourced arrangements.
- Drive systems and process improvement, including invoice capture/OCR automation and payroll data integration.
- Liaise with external advisers on statutory audit, corporation tax compliance and company secretarial matters (these services remain outsourced).
You will design multi-site cost centre reporting for a fast-growing care business, streamline processes in a tour-operating environment (Xero, Hubdoc, Tourplan, FileMaker Pro), and shape a scalable finance function from the ground up — with the autonomy of a senior role and the flexibility of a fractional one.

Strong understanding of internal controls and financial governance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience mentoring or supporting finance team development is desirable.
Experience across multiple entities or SME environments would be an advantage.
