We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our furniture delivery and household removals team. We are based in Dublin and carry out work in Dublin and across Ireland.
Previous experience in furniture deliveries and assembly, household removals, warehouse work, manual handling, customer service would be an advantage.
A full Category B driving licence is required.
This is a physically demanding role involving lifting, so the ideal candidate must be fit, practical, responsible and willing to work as part of a professional team.
Main duties include:
- Driving company vans when required
- Loading and unloading vans
- Delivering furniture to customers
- Carrying furniture and household items safely to the room of choice
- Completing household removals
- Furniture assembly and disassembly when required
- Protecting furniture and customers’ belongings during transport
- Contacting customers by phone regarding deliveries
- Using delivery app to manage jobs and update delivery status
- Keeping a polite, professional and helpful attitude with customers and co-workers
- Working as part of a team to complete jobs safely, efficiently and professionally
Requirements:
- Full Category B driving licence
- Confident driving larger vans - low loader Luton 3.5 tonne vans
- Fluent level of English
- Physically fit and able for lifting furniture
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and willing to learn from our experienced crew
- Careful when handling furniture and personal belongings
- Polite and professional with customers
- Good communication skills
- Able to follow instructions and use a mobile delivery app
- Previous experience is not required but would be an advantage
- Previous experience driving Luton vans or similar commercial vehicles would be an advantage
- Current Manual Handling Certificate would be a bonus

- Pay: starting from €155 per day, depending on experience, start time 7 am, starting location Lucan, Co. Dublin or Northside of Dublin
- Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions
